Finished Basement
Extremely pleased with the high quality work done by Matrix. I bought my home in summer of 2021 and the basement was unfinished. Spent close to 4-5 months getting quotes from different companies and contractors. Either the quote was too high or the background reviews threw me off. A friend of mine got his basement work finished with Matrix and he recommended them to me. It was very easy working with Matrix from the start. The sales rep went through detailed design, pricing options and helped come up with a reasonable quote. From there on, it was very transparent and simple process. I changed some specs (solid core doors instead of hollow core, locks instead of plain door knobs) and it was reflected in the next CAD design. Marcus was the project manager assigned for my basement work. Very helpful and nice person. For an extra HVAC vent addition and couple of recessed lights addition, he did not charge extra. The guys would clean up the basement and take out the trash almost every day they would come and do some major work. I had some extra items (old carpets, blinds, floor wood panels) from the previous home owner who had left those in the basement. Matrix team gladly took those out as well. Towards the end of the project, there were some outstanding items and the project got delayed by 2 days.
