Best Basement Finishing System
I had looked for the right product fo a long time. When I saw the Matrix System I knew this was the product I had been searching for. This is an affordable system that offers all the right properties for a basement installation. Greg Deems did our installation and was a real perfectionist plus was easy to work with as the project progressed. I would highly recommend the Matrix System to anyone considering finishing their basement!
Positive experience
We moved into a new home and the lower level was the last contractor experience we had. Up to the lower level we were very tired of contractors not showing up as expected, less quality than we paid for, having to hound them to finish the work. We didn't have very high expectations when Matrix started but were very pleasantly surprised when they began there work. They showed up every day, kept us informed about progress and suggested details to us when appropriate. It was the best contractor experience we've had and we are very happy with the end product. The crew was conscientious, courteous, couldn't ask for a better group of people and a quality job.
Great new area for family over the holidays!!
We had Matrix out to look at our unfinished basement along with a few other companies, but after looking at the material they would use and the design we came up with working together with them, the choice was easy for us. They weren't the least expensive, but Matrix definitely provided the best value. We were concerned about the low ceilings by the duct work, but they enclosed that with dry wall and did hanging ceiling everywhere else, it looks great and we get nothing but compliments. We had a kitchen put in with vinyl flooring and carpeting throughout the rest of the living area and it really worked well. We had daylight windows and glass block windows and they did a great job of boxing them in so they look like they were installed for the design of the room and give us some nice natural light. Because we still needed storage, they were able to just finish the main part of the basement and gave us two nice storage rooms where the furnace and sub-pump were located. We always host Thanksgiving and have a lot of family and friends for Christmas and the Holidays and everyone loves the beautiful addition to our house, thanks again Matrix.
An amazing business with amazing results!
We are so happy that we went with Matrix Basement Systems. First, the sales representative spent 4 hours with us running multiple designs in order to get us within our budget. He was so patient and not pushy AT ALL. I hate the hard sales pitches, and Matrix was really helpful and kept everything in our best interest. Then the project manager made sure everything was laid out and recorded so everyone was crystal clear on their expectations. The foreman of the job left our house spotless and they even laid our floor protector every day and pulled them up every night. We completely trusted them in our house alone. And the end results were beautiful. A year later, we are so grateful we used Matrix!!

From the moment Matrix Basement Systems came into my home, I was very impressed! I hired them the very same day to finish my 1500 sf basement and 2 weeks later they started construction. About 1 month later they were done. Their construction crew was very professional, clean and trustworthy! It has been 1 year now and we love our Basement! Best investment my family and I ever made! Initial consultation
The consultation went smoothly and Andy is very knowledgeable and patient...the consultation was done on a Saturday and I kept him there for 3 hrs discussing options and if I wanted to make the commitment and investment into my home. Excited to gain 740 sq/ft of living space come March 2017 when they start finishing the basement! I did my research on the company and they do back the walls for 50 yrs and it's a transferable warranty. The R value is important to me and that everything is going to be done to code. Will post another review after the work is done.
Great Experience So Far!
We recently had a designer from Matrix come to our home to provide us with an estimate and design. The representative was extremely professional and detailed. We decided to move forward with Matrix and are very confident they will do a great job. The estimate process was very low pressure and we couldn't believe how patient the representative was with us as we are very indecisive! Looking forward to a great basement!
