Finished basement
We had one last project to complete in our house.....the basement. Our old basement was from around 1975 so there was a lot of work that needed to be done. We needed a space for parties, a bar and to redo our full bathroom. After doing weeks of research we had Matrix come out and give us an estimate. It was exactly what we were looking for. We told them when we wanted to start and they were here promptly at 7:30am as promised. They communicated with us through the entire process. We knew what supplies were needed and when. As we progressed I wanted to make a few changes and they were able to add what I wanted and gave me a detailed price before any additional work was started. There are always hiccups with every project. I was always presented with my options so I could make the decision. The basement and bathroom turned out better than I had imagined. We had a really good experience with Matrix Basement. The time frame for the project was 8-10 weeks. They finished it in 8 weeks. Our project manager, Ricky, updated us on what's going on. He promptly answers texts, emails, and phone calls. Overall, we are very happy we had them finish our basement.

It was a pleasure to meet Drew Whitaker He had taken the time to find out our needs and wants. Drew created a functional design for us as well as being a nice gentleman without being pushy. He helped us understand that we could subtract items for our budget now and add to the basement later.
Amazing First Impression
I just wanted to take the time and recognize Ryan Russell for his complete professionalism during our quoting period. I know this is small and simple, but he was the only one that came to the house and took his shoes off immediately. Ryan was very thorough in his work, answering all of our questions completely and left no detail out. After measuring the space, he really took his time and went through every single aspect of the quote, and gave us the numbers for numerous scenarios based off of our requests. My wife and I felt very comfortable in talking with him about this often stressful process. He made such a good impression that even if we do not pick Matrix for this project, Matrix will be the first person we call for basement finishing once we purchase our forever home. Thanks Ryan for making this part a pleasant experience!

Very happy we decided to hire Matrix to finish our basement. When we found out they take care of everything from permits to general construction to plumbing, electrical and painting, it was a no brainer. After the design consultation all we had to do was sit back and relax. A few short weeks later they started our project and before we knew it, they were done. Basement looks great. Definitely recommend.

Halfway Point...Sweet!!
Well, this project took some time to get rolling, mostly due to crazy circumstances on our end, but it's coming together. Thank you Matrix for your patience and understanding regarding our situation. I felt compelled to write this, despite not having a finished product, to sing the praises of our lead contractor Joe!! What a phenomenally accessible and comfortable guy to talk about our major project. When you're making such a sizable investment, you certainly want the lead on the remodel to instill confidence and professionalism. He has so exceeded this, that I feel spoiled...regardless of expectations coming into the build. And while a little on the quiet side, his partner Louie is always polite, ready to answer questions, and even offers options I hadn't considered. For me, the execution of the work is as important, or more, than the layout/design. Because it's the folks building it that will ultimately give me the "Wow" I'm sure to get. Appreciate you giving me a quality crew! Thanks again Matrix for providing an experience that has been great throughout. Look forward to following up at completion. I will gladly share today's review on other independent sites as well. It's deserved.
Basement Remodel
Matrix did an outstanding job finishing our basement. They were great to work with from the very beginning, with helping us create a vision of what we wanted our basement to look like, all the way through the end with an amazing finished product. The entire Matrix team was very nice and fun to work with. I would highly recommend Matrix Basement Systems to anyone looking to finish their basement. We are excited to use our additional square footage and 100% happy with the outcome.
