Thanks, Matrix! We were hesitant to buy because of some rough experiences with other contractors. So glad we got over it. Jamie and his team are outstanding. I work from home, and they respected the times I needed to be on calls. They were professional, courteous, and their work is great. We had several change orders in the process--they all were easy. Love the turnkey model. And the fire protection in the walls. Again, we're so happy! Thanks for restoring our faith in companies like yours.
Finally a space for two
Quick and efficient. The team worked within the timeframe they estimated even during the worst of the winter weather. I got my theater room and sports bar while my wife got her gym/dance studio. Loved the customization options, especially the blackout ceiling which gives a modern touch and more openness to the entire space. Shout out to Oscar and Romero, they were very professional and went above and beyond. One small upgrade we would reconsider is better flooring. The vinyl faux wood floor panels did not keep the save warm or cushioned.
Basement Transformation
Our complete basement remodel project with Matrix was a great experience! We’re thrilled with our “new” basement and it was a seamless process from the first meeting to the final punch list! Drew was able to help us re-imagine the space, changing the “footprint” of the room and adding more accessible storage space. Mike helped finalize our plans and guide us in our decision making process selecting doors, hardware, trim, flooring and carpet. The coordination of the various tradesmen was done by Anthony, so the Matrix company eliminates the need for the homeowner to coordinate various sub-contractors - a definite plus! Our construction crew - Ramiro and Oscar - were outstanding! They were punctual, happy to answer any questions and had a great work ethic. They paid careful attention to their craftsmanship and the details that make our room look amazing. Jay was responsible for the minor issues and touch ups on our punch list. He was friendly, efficient and obviously well qualified in all trade areas. We’ve received many compliments on our basement remodel project and definitely recommend Matrix!
Finished Basement
Matrix was excellent to work with. Dealing with the entire team was hassle free and overall enjoyable. Everyone was professional, courteous, and it is clear that they are experts at what they do. Our basement was unfinished and we decided to work with Matrix because of the high quality products they use, the fact that we only had to work with Matrix for plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc., and the excellent craftsmanship that the Matrix team provides. Jamie, the foreman for our project, answered all questions and handled all of the scheduling with ease. Matrix brought our vision of what we wanted to life and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to finish or remodel their basement. Thank you, Matrix team!
Basement Remodel
My experience with Matrix Basement System, Inc. was very pleasant and the contractors were very professional and courteous. Matrix in my opinion is a very trustworthy company and does everything in its power to satisfy their customers needs and request. Our basement space was transformed. It went from a 1970s era, concrete foundation for walls, extended storage space with unused walkout to the backyard, into a warm, inviting and livable hangout den with extra office space! We can't wait to have friends and family over for BBQs, using the basement in ways that were not possible before!! Anthony J. did a fabulous and efficient job organizing all of the various crews, each of which were highly professional and with expertise in their work. From the framers/drywallers, insulation sprayers, electrician and floor installers: each were very enthusiastic and timely in their part of the work. Peter and his construction crew -- especially -- were Rock Stars, and were enthusiastic and dedicated throughout. Their drywall, miter and soffit work were meticulous. We are very pleased with the outcome of our basement -- Thank you, Matrix!
Amazing Result
Working with Matrix Basement Solutions was an amazing experience! They were professional and very knowledgeable about everything that I required for my tiny basement. They were able to realize all of my ideas, needs and plans for maximizing the space available and providing a detailed blueprint before the work began. The final product was beyond my expectations and I have received endless compliments about how amazing the end result looks like. The exposed painted ceiling with crown moulding was the biggest hit! Best part of working with Matrix is that the entire team is readily available and accesible via phone or text. I had to stay on top of the schedule and the project went longer than expected but I highly recomend them and love my final outcome.
Responsive and Helpful
The team that worked on our basement (Shawn, Joaquin, Gio, Mata, Maria and Antonio) were very helpful and professional. They were quick to listen and make sure that all of our desires for the space were met to our satisfaction. They were helpful and polite and always received our questions and concerns with care and worked to make everything just as we would want it for our family. I appreciated all of the care and concern that they took with details.

Open Truss Basement....Not a Problem
My wife and I have a basement with a low ceiling and an open truss system. Matrix came up with a very good plan for completing our basement and spraying the open trusses black. What a fantastic look. Daniel did an awesome job. It took over 14 gallons of paint. Matrix worked with us on all aspects of the job including allowing me to paint myself and put in the flooring to help save money. The team (which also included Anthony and Chris) worked with me and accommodated a number of changes. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased.
