Very pleased
We are very happy with our basement transformation. We started with a completely unfinished area, and now have a great family area, den, guest bedroom, bathroom and plenty of storage. We had a basic idea of what we wanted, but with the design help of Ryan we were able to come up with everything we were looking for and more. Next, Joe took over getting everything started and heading in the right direction. From then till finish we worked with Jamie who was excellent in all aspects from scheduling each part of the project to being always available to answer any questions that came up. Many times we texted him not thinking about what day or time of the day it was, and he always answered immediately. Each crew he assigned to do the various parts of the project was hard working, efficient, and very courteous. We would definitely recommend and use Matrix ourselves again if there is a future project. Thank you everyone at Matrix for a job well done, with a special thanks to Jamie who from first meeting to final visit made every effort to see that we were happy with every detail.
Nice Looking When Done
I generally had a good, albeit much longer than expected, journey with Matrix. I am happy with the end product (basement finished with a large bonus space, office, and bathroom). I feel like the sales team definitely promised a lot more than what could be done in reality, but I should've also probably been more involved along the way. All in all, the field manager, Jamie, was absolutely great and very upfront about what could and couldn't be done. He was communicative, providing me updates along the way and was flexible with my busy schedule when we had to meet.
Excellent Basement Finishing Experience
Everything from start to finish was professionally done. Jamie Verhines was an excellent project manager with a wonderful crew. Our basement was finished in a timely manner. Each crew, managed by Jamie, arrived on time and worked diligently on their portion of the job. We love our new basement! Thank you Matrix.
Finished basement
All the people we came into contact with at Matrix were wonderful! Ben was the main guy on site and he was great. We appreciated his communication about the upcoming steps and what to expect next throughout the process. A special thank you to Anthony and Jay! Anthony was the foreman who handled all the scheduling and answered questions via phone. We don’t know how Anthony juggles it all, but he did and was readily available to us when we needed him. We met Jay closer to the end of the project. Jay is very knowledgeable and his work is exemplary! We are happy with the overall work that was completed in our basement and have received many compliments. The foam insulation they use is also very effective - our basement is now the warmest room in our house!
From Blah to Bliss
Matrix transformed our unfinished basement from unusable blah to a beautiful fully functional recreation room, great for watching sports or entertaining friends. Our renovation included a wet bar with cabinets, bathroom, sprayed ceiling, tile floors, and crown molding...all in a timely manner. Our foreman, Steve T., did an excellent job scheduling all work activity and keeping us informed. We are very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism of the crew, as well. Matrix for Exotic Basements
We had a truly amazing experience with Matrix, who turned our basement into a paradise. It all started with the friendly Drew who was flexible to visit us after my office hours, patiently took all measurements and proposed a beautiful open design with a vast collection of exotic materials for flooring and everything else. All the agreed details were carefully captured in a detailed design proposal and nothing was left to any guess work. When the work commenced, Anthony took over and efficiently mobilized many of the contractors who were very professional and talented in getting things done perfectly. When we had a challenge with mounting our very heavy motorized projector screen, which was out-of-scope for Matrix, Brian the boss, stepped in and was super supportive in sending in one of their best to install a reinforcement and got the projector screen setup at no extra cost. We are very much satisfied with the basement and happy with the compliments we receive from each and every person who visits our home. I would recommend Matrix Basement to anyone who wants an exotic basement.
Best remodeling job ever
It all started with Ryan Wright, sales. He did a great job and was very professional and communicated with me through the decision process. He laid out a plan that was customer focused and provided his personal commitment. Once the contract was signed, Joe immediately connected with me to finalize the plans and make some very helpful suggestions to improve the project. Jamie V, the project manager was amazing. He did exactly what he said he and the team were going to do and when. I never had to follow up and Jamie was very proactive in communication. Over the years I have completed many project, like room additions, kitchens, baths, basements, garages...but this is by far my best experience and most professional company I have worked with.
Our basement remodel
We needed to update our existing basement and could not have been happier that we chose Matrix to do the work. They took the time to consult with us as to our needs and arrived with a plan that encompassed all of our needs. Our project was made all of the more difficult because our basement includes a fully functional model railroad layout that could not be moved and the workers could not have been better in working around this obstacle. Daniel and Victor were two of the most hardworking and meticulous individuals that you could ever ask for. Their attention to detail was outstanding. Basement Transformation
We have an older home (1940’s) with a long narrow basement making it a challenge to efficiently utilize the limited space that we have. Matrix was amazing. Their skilled team of experts exceeded our expectations in finding ways to maximize every inch of our little basement, transforming it into an inviting and multi-functional living space. Shawn oversaw the process from start to finish making sure everything came together and Jose’ used his multiple talents and attention to detail to create new and attractive usable spaces throughout. One half of the basement is a remodeled tool room and laundry area complete with tons of added storage. The other half of the basement is a beautiful entertainment center complete with a wine bar and a full bathroom with shower. The detail work required to transform our basement was no easy task but Shawn and Jose’ found a way a way to pull it all together. Thank you Matrix.
Great Transformation
After years of ignoring our dated, dilapidated basement for anything but storage, we finally pulled the trigger on getting it updated. Thank goodness for Matrix! From the first day of their visit taking measurements, to the last day removing the lockbox, everyone we worked with was professional, highly skilled, and accepted all our mid-job adjustments to the plan with good grace and humor. Mark, Dan, Rolando, Andy and the whole crew--thank you for being as committed to our basement as we were! Instead of closing the door to the basement, we are now thrilled to visit a beautiful entertaining space, complete with viewing area, wet bar, and wine cellar. I would recommend Matrix to friends and acquaintances in a hearbeat.
