Worry Free Basement Finishing
We had a very good experience using Matrix Basement Systems for our basement finishing project. Our project foreman Shawn S. was extremely knowledgeable. He was available every step of the way to answer any questions we had. I, for one, did not know anything about this process and Shawn was able to put my mind at ease throughout the project. He was an excellent communicator and had his crews here on time for each step. Each crew that came into the house was very professional and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend Matrix to anyone looking to finish their basement!
Basement project
We are super happy with our basement!! They are always on time and always on schedule. Ben is great to work with including his team ( Jesus- carpenter and Adrian) they are the best and very accommodating to us! Highly recommended. Our basement is done on time! ( 2.5 months). Now we can enjoy our additional space that we dreamed of.

We are so happy that we chose Matrix to refinish our basement. It is beautiful...exactly what I had imagined it could be! Right from the start, each and every person that we worked with were there to fulfill our dream. Special kudos to Rico and his team of workers. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Anything I needed, anything I wanted, all I had to do was ask. Rico was there for us literally 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. He listened to our questions and concerns and followed through on every single detail we worried about. The team he put together was fantastic. They were very knowledgeable, professional, respectful and detail orientated. A special thank you to Barbara, (painter) Charley (tile magician) and Victor (jack-of-all-trades)! Their hard work and generosity with their time was much appreciated. I highly recommend Matrix Basement System from start to finish. If I had to do it over again...I wouldn't change a thing. We LOVE our new basement!
I’m a stickler for staying within budget and that was one of my biggest concerns with getting a large project done-a company quotes you one price and once the project gets started, you then have thousands of additional costs. Matrix assured us that once the contract was signed, that was the final price. They were right! We were very pleased with our overall experience. Our project manager was Rico Hill and he was awesome! When a contractor was scheduled to come for the day, we received a text bright and early that morning from him informing us of the time frame they were coming. For planning purposes that was really important for me. The CAD drawing gave us a very good idea how the basement would look but the actual finished product is absolutely amazing! To look at the before picture, you would have never thought it was the same basement. I highly recommend Matrix if you’re considering a basement remodel; if you can request a Project Manager, ask for Rico. It’s nice to have just one “go to person”.

Excellent Job!
We are so pleased with our basement!!! Shawn Sheedy and his team did an excellent job. Once the job started, the ball rolled so quickly...6 weeks went by so fast!. We truly loved the fact that when we had any problems or concerns, Shawn was just a phone call away and he always responded quickly...and he also handled any concerns or hiccups quickly. We appreciate the fact that Shawn and his team were thorough and on schedule...they were never behind schedule. We had such a positive experience with Matrix and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of a basement remodeling project. Thank you so much Shawn! You and your team ROCK!!!
Basement remodel
Our experience with Matrix was great! Our basement turned out amazing! We worked with Chris(Sales), Joe (Field Mgr.} and Jamie(field Foreman) all three were great. Jamie our site foreman was very easy to work with and kept us updated with the schedule through their BuilderTrend App. He stayed true to the schedule that was created with some minor adjustments, it was easy to communicate with him through the app when there were changes. All the subs were great! they all were polite and respectful of our home. If someone is thinking about finishing their basement and it is within their budget( a bit pricey) I would strongly recommend hiring Matrix. Kevin & Kathy

I haven't gone through with the contract yet, but I've quoted with several companies and Matrix was by far the easiest to work with and the most professional. Matrix price is pretty much in line with everyone else, but I'd argue Matrix's value for the money is far greater from what I've seen. I chose to write this review because of my experience with the designer/rep that came to my house; Brian Westrom. Super knowledgeable and has great vision. If you're looking to finish your basement and don't know where to start, Brian can put it together and present it very clearly.
Amazing!
Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness Thank you Matrix Basement for making my dream become a reality! Jordan came up with a basement layout that I never would have, and it worked perfectly to incorporate what we wanted done with the basement space. That included dry bar, main area for kids, theater room, and lots of storage space. Jamie was the project manager and kept the work pace moving along and the job was completed on time. I could list everyone that worked and rave about their skill, but that would take too long. My wife and I had high expectations, but they exceeded on every level. We love the quality of materials used and the professionalism of everyone who came to our house. Everyone followed safe Covid practices (masks) and made minimal noise. My wife and I are loving our new finished basement, its now the most comfortable area of the house. Matrix works with 2 financing companies which was an added bonus to make the loan process easy. Partial basement
Overall a good experience with Matrix. Their team was flexible and accommodating as we worked through issues that arose during the project. The trades were competent and for the most part the project was well coordinated and tracked. The renovation was of good quality and we would recommend Matrix.
