Full Basement overhaul!
From our first meeting with Jeremy, where we shared our dreams & crazy basement wish list, to our many chats with Anthony the head carpenter who would give us daily updates on what was happening next, and then our final walk through with Ron, where he walked with. to answer any questions we had and ensured all our needs were met... our time with Matrix has been absolutely wonderful! The project was a big undertaking, but everyone that played a part in our remodel was polite and extremely patient with us. That includes Susie at their office, as she always ensured someone followed up with us when we e-mailed any questions about the project. I would give these guys a 10 out of 10, and I would highly recommend them to any family members or close friends if they were doing some remodeling. Super excited to start using our basement!!!
Finished Basement
Extremely pleased with the high quality work done by Matrix. I bought my home in summer of 2021 and the basement was unfinished. Spent close to 4-5 months getting quotes from different companies and contractors. Either the quote was too high or the background reviews threw me off. A friend of mine got his basement work finished with Matrix and he recommended them to me. It was very easy working with Matrix from the start. The sales rep went through detailed design, pricing options and helped come up with a reasonable quote. From there on, it was very transparent and simple process. I changed some specs (solid core doors instead of hollow core, locks instead of plain door knobs) and it was reflected in the next CAD design. Marcus was the project manager assigned for my basement work. Very helpful and nice person. For an extra HVAC vent addition and couple of recessed lights addition, he did not charge extra. The guys would clean up the basement and take out the trash almost every day they would come and do some major work. I had some extra items (old carpets, blinds, floor wood panels) from the previous home owner who had left those in the basement. Matrix team gladly took those out as well. Towards the end of the project, there were some outstanding items and the project got delayed by 2 days. Finished basement
We wanted to finish our basement and after getting several quotes, Matrix was the only one that went over everything in detail to provide us with an exact cost before starting. We had a schedule provided and we're updated throughout the project. Ron finished up with everything making sure it was done as expected and it looks fantastic! There was great communication and the work was top notch! We are very happy with the results.
Basement finishing
Everything was smooth sailing from our initial interaction with the sales rep until finishing. Total time was about 3 months for our 1100 square foot basement and the schedule was adhered to. Everybody showed up and left on time from insulation to floor. Everything looks amazing and it added so much more value to our home compared to the cost
New shower.
Had a good experience with Matrix. They remodeled our primary bathroom. Ron the production manager helped us with the planning. Jessie the installer did a great job installing the shower. Both were very professional.
Fantastic Customer Service
When we decided to get our basement finished we knew from past experience on other projects that we wanted a professional company that would stand behind their work and we were willing to pay a little more for that. We found that in Matrix! They were a little more expensive than other quotes but the sales process was much more thorough and detailed. Daniel was assigned as the project manager and we are very lucky he was. When we first met, he told us to contact him if we ever had questions, concerns, or problems and he would take care of it. When you have to coordinate so many phases of a project, roughing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, tile, floor, paint, etc., you hope everything gets pulled off without a hitch. But that's not reality. Reality is having a guy like Daniel to call and take care of things. After EVERY phase of the project he came by and inspected the work. He spotted things we didn't and had it corrected within days although he didn't have to correct anything our carpenter Kevin did as his work was impeccable. Everything was laser level and the basement was cleaned up every day. Matrix is extremely fortunate to have people like Daniel and Kevin representing them. Very glad we spent the money and would use Matrix again in a heartbeat!
Basement Remodel
Overall we are truly happy with our project. Matrix turned an unfinished basement into a remarkable space. We now have two bonus rooms and a full bath. Honestly this review is for the new Wisconsin location.
Basement Project
My experience with Matrix was outstanding! The project was completed first class from beginning to end. I would like to specially thank the Project Manager Victor who was very professional and treate the project like it was his own basement. His customer service was top notch. Always availble to answer any questions. The quality of the work from everyone involved was perfect.I would highly recommend anyone looking for a basement that will stand out to use Matrix!
Job Well Done
We are very pleased with Matrix having finished our basement. Matrix replied to all our inquiries promptly and never left us guessing. For any problems or errors that cropped up, Matrix resolved them to our full satisfaction and as quickly as possible. The Matrix supervisor always kept us informed on what step came next and when, and he would patiently explain anything we would not understand. His smile shined a confidence that a job well done would be expected. Every Matrix subcontractor assigned to their part of the basement came to our home in a few days straight until their work was fully completed. All jobs were an impressive highly quality finish. We had no qualms on personally inspecting our basement each day and at times while the work was in progress. The subcontractors were pleased to answer our many questions and were especially accommodating when possible. They were courteous, very skilled, proficient, and respectful of our privacy and our property. Among a half dozen or so finish basement contractors that we got bids on, Matrix was priced at the high end. We, however, are more than fully satisfied with Matrix's quality, timelessness, aggravation free service, and professionalism at every phase that made every penny we spent worth our while.
Worry Free Basement Finishing
We had a very good experience using Matrix Basement Systems for our basement finishing project. Our project foreman Shawn S. was extremely knowledgeable. He was available every step of the way to answer any questions we had. I, for one, did not know anything about this process and Shawn was able to put my mind at ease throughout the project. He was an excellent communicator and had his crews here on time for each step. Each crew that came into the house was very professional and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend Matrix to anyone looking to finish their basement!
