How We Prevent Mold and Mildew

We begin with a dry basement and use our patented Tyroc Subflooring System, which acts as a moisture barrier for your basement flooring material. Tyroc is moisture, thermal, sound, and mold and mildew proof, all in one solution. Then we use our structurally insulated panels (SIPs) made of magnesium oxide board (MgO Board) with 3.5” closed-cell polystyrene foam between them. We top it off with Rockfon Ceiling Tiles, which are made from stone wool materials. They’re composed primarily of basalt rock and 42% recycled materials.
